A how-to guide for Co-learning Forums - a handbook of key methodology and tools organisers can use for facilitating co-learning and co-production of knowledge, in both digital and face-to-face participatory activities. The methodology is grounded in the Guiding Principles for Co-learning.
- The handbook includes a catalogue of methods ( e.g. Guiding Principles for co-learning, Mapping links and hierarchies in the project, Step-by-step for planning and implementing a Co-Learning workshop (CLF), etc) and tools (e.g. site visits, on-site workshops, small group discussions - both city based and mixed WPs, multilanguage approach, language-based breakout rooms to exchange experiences in a meaningful way; Miro or Mural for collaborative mapping/brainstorming; Menti polls to gather data & establish baselines on the spot, pre-conference reading material etc.);
- A list of crucial roles in these activities (e.g. language mediators, note-takers, facilitators, technical support, etc.)
Intended impact
- Systematisation of knowledge/learnings & methodologies co-created; capacity-building for equal and meaningful engagement, in both digital and face-to-face participatory activities.
- Implementation of a common arena to tackle three challenges within co-production of knowledge in transdisciplinary research: (a) power relations; (b) interrelating different perspectives; and (c) promoting a previously negotiated orientation towards sustainable development
- Bridge disciplines, knowledges, and stakeholders.
