Policy Brief Series

What is the CONEXUS Policy Brief Series?

Tapping into the results of the Ecosystems of Guidelines workshop in Buenos Aires, where different dissemination and exploitation products were mapped, ICLEI is proposing a series of Policy Briefs. The Policy Briefs will present how CONEXUS Life Labs concrete experiences and outcomes can be translated into policy recommendations for cities both in Latin America and Europe.

Target audience: decision-makers, public managers, academia and activists

Scope: Latin America & Europe

Format: 4 or 8 pages CONEXUS publications with designed layout to be disseminated online and as handout.

Intended impact: Provide evidence-based policy recommendations to mainstream NBS in the (peri)urban agenda, both in Latin America and Europe cities.

Proposed topics:

We are proposing a first set of topics identified by the EoG, as follows:

i. Creating green corridors for biodiversity: Lisbon & Sao Paulo;

ii. Green Infrastructure Management Plan for cities: Santiago, Torino & Barcelona;

iii. NBS for vulnerable and informal neighbourhoods: Buenos Aires, Santiago & Bogota;

iv. Water Management: Buenos Aires

Work structure

ICLEI Europe and ICLEI SAMS will provide support in content development (desktop research), translation, proofreading and edition.

Layout and design will be provided by LALI/GV

Life Labs will work on content development, with the support of ICLEI, and providing relevant information and evidence for illustrating the policy recommendations that will emerge.

Template

A template for the policy brief content can be found here . This template is a structure to collect the relevant information in an organized manner. The sessions and order of the text might be shifted after edition.

A layout Canvas is not yet developed
