- Value capture: understanding the benefits of NBS implementation, both in the short term and the long term. This includes considering the costs associated with delivering the value proposition and establishing a sustainable financing model for the services provided.
The guide includes seven steps, from understanding the urban context and challenges to finally making the NBS valorization case.

The primary audience for the guidebook will include decision-makers in urban areas, such as public actors like city councils, but also civil society organizations and private entities. The potential funders of urban NBS initiatives, such as private foundations, government bodies, businesses, and more will also be a potential target. The implementation of the guide should ultimately result in a NBS business case to be presented to decision-makers and funders.
